California parent voices

Since November 2022, the RAPID Survey Project has been collecting ongoing data from California caregivers of children under age 6 across the state. The core content areas of the RAPID California Parent Voices survey are experiences of material hardship, child and parent emotional well-being, access to and use of child care, and use of preventive health care. Below are data for each of these core areas from November 2022 to present. Data are weighted to match known population characteristics. These trend data are updated monthly.

Data & Methodology Note: These interactive trend lines incorporate the most recent version of the California caregiver survey data. Figures may differ slightly from previously published fact sheets based on data version. Moving forward, we will continue to build upon this trend line by adding new data points as they are acquired.
